A person must be 18 years or older to become an Account Owner, Admin, or Community member on Till.
Family Account Owner
The family Account Owner is a family member, usually a parent or guardian, who must verify their identity to open the family bank account. They can link their checking account to their Parent Wallet to give their kid(s) money through a Quick Give, goal contribution, allowance, and task completion.
Account Owners can invite kids, Admins, and Community Members to the family on Till. They can close savings goals and approve internal transfers initiated by the kid(s) or Admin(s) in the family.
A family Account Owner can only be an owner of one family. However, they can be a Community Member for unlimited families. They cannot be an Admin to another family at this time.
Family Admin
The Admin is invited by the Account Owner to join the family account. They must also verify their identity to open a Till account. Like the Account Owner, the Admin can link their checking account to their Parent Wallet to give their kid(s) money through a Quick Give, goal contribution, allowance, and task completion.
An Admin can only be an admin to one family at a time. However, they can be a Community Member for unlimited families. They cannot be an Account Owner to another family at this time.
Kids
Kids are invited to the family by family Account Owners or Admins. They can create goals, accomplish tasks, initiate transfers, set up direct deposit with their job, and last but certainly not least, use their Till debit to withdraw cash and make purchases online and in-store. 💳️
A kid can only be a kid in one family at a time and must be at least one year old. Kids cannot have any other role in any other family on Till until they are 18 years or older - at which point they will need to open a new Till account and undergo identity verification.
Community Member
Community Members are invited by family Account Owners or Admins. They can link their checking account to make recurring or one-time contributions toward the kids' goals. They will not see any family bank account information or the kids' spending history.
A Community Member can be invited to more than one family as a Community Member. They can also create their own family and become an Account Owner, or they can be invited as an Admin to one other family.
