What is Give Link?
Give Link provides friends and family the ability to send kids money without having to sign up as an admin, owner, or community member on Till. In other words, this feature will allow non-Till users the ability to contribute to the kids account without the Till app.
Friends and family most often use Give Link to send funds to a child for a birthday, a holiday, celebration, or other big life moment or giving funds related to tasks such as babysitting, mowing the lawn, etc
Who can use Give Link?
Before a Give Link can be used, an Owner must turn it on within the Till app. Turning Give Link on creates a link and QR code unique to a Child’s account. The link or QR code may then be shared with friends and family to send gifts directly to that Child’s account. Owners and Admins may disable a Give Link on a per child basis at any time for any reason.
Give Link payments are processed through our debit card funding partner, Astra. Astra requires that all senders be 18 or older, and your use of Give Link is subject to approval by Till and by Astra. Not all users and cards may be eligible.
How long will it take for the recipient to receive the money?
Once a Give Link transaction has been completed, the entire balance will be transferred immediately and the recipient will be notified. Once funds have been sent through the Give Link, neither the funds nor any applicable fees can be refunded to you.
If a Give Link transaction is not successful, no funds will be transferred and you will be notified.
Can I use a credit card with Give Link?
No. A debit card is required to send funds via Give Link.
What are the fees associated with Give Link?
Till does not charge a fee for funds sent through Give Link. All Give Link payments will be processed in USD ($). Your bank may charge you additional fees for using a card that is linked to an account in a different currency.
What's the minimum someone can send via Give Link?
Give Link transactions have a $5 minimum.
