Activation depends on which card type you have:
Digital-Only Cards: Digital-only cards don't require activation. Once your account is funded, you can view your card details and start using your card right away. You can use your digital-only card by:
- Adding to a mobile wallet: Open the Till app, tap on the card, and select Add to Apple Wallet. Android users can add their card details to Google Wallet manually.
- Entering card details online: Find your card number, expiration date, and security code in the Till app under Card details and use them to pay on websites and apps.
Don't see the card details? They'll only appear after you've funded your Till account for the first time.
Physical Cards: When your physical card arrives in the mail, you'll need to activate it before use. To activate your physical card:
- Open the Till app (Parent or Kid app)
- Tap on the card that needs activation
- Select Activate Card
- Enter the last 4 digits of the card number
- Create a PIN for the card
Don't want to wait? Your card details are available immediately in the Till app—you can start using the digital card right away. Setting it up in your mobile wallet won't affect your physical card.
For Parents: If your child is activating their card, make sure they've downloaded the app and are logged in with their credentials.
Note: Only Account Owners and kids can activate a physical card.
